Night One:
A Toast to 10-Years!
VIP OPENING PARTY
We POPPED off the 10th Anniversary of New York Champagne Week celebrations with Champagne Pol Roger by taking over three historic floors at iconic midtown hotspot, Bill’s Supper Club.
New York Champagne Week friends were invited to commemorate and toast to 10 years of effervescent fun with us! Expect multiple champagne bars on all three floors spotlighting curated champagne selections from Champagne Pol Roger, a slider station, frites and FIZZ and it wouldn’t be a New York Champagne Week partayyyyy without a caviar bump bar and addictive dance worthy beats.
Night Two:
Pig & Swig, featuring Champagnes from Skurnik Wines & Spirits
We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again, there’s no better food pairing wine than CHAMPAGNE!
We started off the experience with an extra special welcome champagne selection and toast led by New York Champagne Week founder, Blaine Ashley and co-host, Kelly Mitchell of Skurnik Wines & Spirits followed by family style antipasti selections such as charcuterie and formaggi, sausage 'n peppas pizza, baby caesar salad, guanciale, cacio e pepe and rigatoni mezzi.
Chef then delivered, carved and served the whole roasted glistening pig accompanied by salsa verde, wood fired seasonal vegetables and stone ground polenta. More perfectly paired champagnes will be paired with the main event and bantered about between Kelly, Peasant’s sommelier, Michael Laudenslager and our guests.
And, to top off the decadent Pig & Swig experience, dessert was served – a brick oven apple crisp teamed with bacon chocolate chip cookies. Enter, more champagne!
Night Three:
Bold Babes, Bold Bubbles
Hosted by New York Champagne Week founder, Blaine Ashley – we POPPED off Woman Crush Wednesday – New York Champagne Week style as we explored naturally made champagnes from French women winemakers at the top of their game. Presented by woman owned, IOLA wines – guests were delighted in meeting founder, Marilee Bramhall and exploring some of the most talented female vigneronnes sourced by Bramhall herself as she spotlighted the curated cuvées by Champagne Cordeuil Père et Fille, Champagne Piot-Sévillano, Champagne Le Gallais, Champagne Dauby Mère et Fille, Champagne Veuve Olivier et Fils.
Attendees tasted five champagnes from these five leading female producers while learning more about Bramhall and IOLA subscription-based wine club. After tantalizing our taste buds with the wonderment of bold women working in radical harmony with the earth make extraordinary wines, we’ll dive into a panel conversation with bold women that embody the champagne lifestyle right here in NYC including Bramhall and New York Champagne Week founder, Blaine Ashley aka champagneblaine_.

Cara has been a leader in the women's empowerment space for the past 15 years, and has built an effervescent empire of books, a coaching practice, a podcast, a merch line, and more.
The Champagne Style: Makeda Saggau Sackey, content creator behind Glamazon Diaries, the NYC-based size inclusive lifestyle blog whose main mission is to inspire and encourage women to live boldly and unapologetically no matter their size, race or creed.

Big Bottles, Big Difference
Bubbles that give back? Yes, please! We put our decadent habit to good cause by supporting
This was New York Champagne Week’s Big Bottles, Big Difference event in collaboration with BLACKBARN Restaurant’s Chef/Owner, John Doherty.
Doherty is also the founder of Heavenly Harvst Foundation, whose mission is to end world hunger by producing and providing nutritious, shelf-stable meals to programs that relieve hunger bringing dignity, health and hope to those in need.
At Big Bottles, Big Difference guests relished in multiple bars featuring magnum bottles of champagne from TEN!! stand out champagne brands. In addition to tasting through an array of BIG BOTTLES, attendees remained in the spirit of discovery as they stumbled upon various food stations spotlighting culinary delights, a Petrossian caviar bump bar and — if that wasn’t enough to tantalize guests taste buds — all guests were able to partake in a special silent auction boasting rare vintage bottles, tête de cuvées and MORE!
Featured champagnes: AYALA, Collery, Deutz, Charles Heidsieck, Gonet-Medeville, Lanson, Laurent-Perrier, Nicolas Feuillatte, Piper-Heidsieck, Pommery and to round out the 10 featured champagnes for this philanthropic forward event, and we debuted a special NEW release!
All tickets and silent auction proceeds benefited the Heavenly Harvst Foundation.
Finale Brunch:
#LuckyRita La Caravelle New York Champagne Week
On the very lucky day of 11:11, held our La Caravelle Champagne closing brunch affair hosted by Chief Bubble Officer, Rita Jammet aka #LuckyRita at Marcus Samuelsson's Hav & Mar Restaurant.
Guests were greeted with La Caravelle No. 1 Champagne Cocktails, a tantalizing blend of Grey Goose Vodka, fresh mint and lime topped with La Caravelle Champagne Brut Cuvée Niña followed by (east) East and (west) West coast oysters and ocean salad, a champagne friendly medley of poached lobster, blue shrimp, mussels, little neck clams and more oysters.
La Caravelle's Brut Rosé begun to flow as we delight in family style Tibs and Grits – harari stewed beef, creamy grits, timatim selata, Yuca fries and Kolo Crusted French Toast, toasted barley crumbs and bananas foster.
And, our decadent champagne fueled finale brunch experience concluded with a chocolate cake.

WHAT IS NEW YORK CHAMPAGNE WEEK?
The week’s ethos is and always has been to promote the champagne category through a variety of approachable and fun creative events, pairing experiences, brand launches, new release reveals, interactive tasting seminars and more.
This effervescent week of events initially served as a vehicle to connect the champagne region and brands to prospective restaurant and retail store buyers and press. Over the last three years, and through a global pandemic, New York Champagne Week has expanded to the champagne consumer by offering a combination of virtual events and intimate in-person gatherings.
New York Champagne Week 2023, taking place November 6-11, will officially become a full-fledged destination event, inviting champagne enthusiasts from all over the world to participate in this year’s champagne-packed festivities.
