Chef will then deliver, carve and serve the whole roasted glistening pig accompanied by salsa verde, wood fired seasonal vegetables and stone ground polenta. More perfectly paired champagnes a la Skurnik will be paired with the main event and bantered about between Kelly, Peasant’s sommelier, Michael and our guests.

And, to top off the decadent Pig & Swig experience, dessert is served – a brick oven apple crisp teamed with bacon chocolate chip cookies. Enter, more champagne!

WHAT IS NEW YORK CHAMPAGNE WEEK?

The week’s ethos is and always has been to promote the champagne category through a variety of approachable and fun creative events, pairing experiences, brand launches, new release reveals, interactive tasting seminars and more.

This effervescent week of events initially served as a vehicle to connect the champagne region and brands to prospective restaurant and retail store buyers and press. Over the last three years, and through a global pandemic, New York Champagne Week has expanded to the champagne consumer by offering a combination of virtual events and intimate in-person gatherings.

New York Champagne Week 2023, taking place November 6-11, will officially become a full-fledged destination event, inviting champagne enthusiasts from all over the world to participate in this year’s champagne-packed festivities.
