VIP Opening Bash
We popped off at magical night for our 11th year of New York Champagne Week! Our event was hosted at The NED NoMad, luxury hotel and members club in New York. We took over the Atrium with a selection of vintage and rare champagnes from Champagne Canard-Duchêne and Champagne Thiénot, accompanied by delectable champagne-friendly bites and a caviar station featuring NEW woman owned and powered, Caviar Dream.
Boss Babes of Bubbly
A sparkling toast to women’s empowerment! This event was hosted by New York Champagne Week founder, Blaine Ashley, at the chic Penthouse Suite at The James Hotel.
Our guests were greeted upon hotel entry with magnum pours of Champagne Canard-Duchêne Cuvée “V” 2010 in the lobby before being ushered up in a private elevator to The Penthouse. Indulge in luxury with the en suite bathtub stocked with Champagne Canard Duchêne and Champagne Thiénot, and savor delectable female owned, HAUTE caviar alongside more champagne friendly nibbles. Browse and shop champagne lovers cult-fave jewelry by Laura Lobdell. Champers rings anyone?!
During the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a brief speaking portion and Q&A session with Blaine Ashley, Laura Lobdell, and get to know more about the women behind Champagne Canard Duchêne and Champagne Thiénot from Champagnes & Châteaux President, Aurelie Baetche, East Coast Regional Director, Celine Vipperman. Talk about BOSS femme experts, both Aurelie and Celine have Champagne Master-Level Certificates from the Wine Scholar Guild! Learn about the inspiring journeys and innovative processes behind these successful female, champagne lifestyle leaders.
Caviar, Fishes & Champagne Dreams
Our intimate, champagne pairing dinner experiences are always decadent and exclusive. This year’s culinary adventure is no exception as we team up with Chef Victor Rivera and Kendra Anderson of NEW, Caviar Dream to take guests on a multi-sensory exploration.
The Bazaar by José Andrés is where dining transcends into fête extraordinaire, boasting a vibrant mix of sophisticated cuisine, artful service and playful theatrics. With the addition of Caviar Dream dolloped on and thoughtfully incorporated into each course alongside perfectly paired champagnes presented by Champagne Valentin Leflaive Brand Manager, Bridget Sparagna, guests will literally be transported to a dream state. This sold out dinner was ultra exclusive with only 14 spaces available.
Y2 Caviar
We bumped it up and brought it back to the early 2000s when the Meatpacking District was the place to be. We’re took over the NEW Petrossian Meatpacking location for our official closing for a night of New York Champagne Week. Guests were flowing Champagne Pol Roger, Kilos of Petrossian Caviar and groove to the early 2000s move, with DJ curated beats. They got to rock their juiciest velour tracksuit, rhinestones, metallics, bootcut jeans and going out tops for a night of nostalgic revelry. We wrapped up in the night in high style with nightcap Champagne Kir Royales and New York Pizza in true, aughts fashion.
Flights & Bites
Guest joined the New York Champagne Week Founder, Blaine Ashley at woman owned, Copinette (girlfriend en français) for a brunch time sparkling affair: Flights & Bites featuring Champagne Château de Bligny.
Attendees got to know this showstopping grower champagne while tasting flights of Champagne Château de Bligny Brut, Rosé and Blanc de Blancs cuvées -- all paired with curated selections of delectable canapé.

WHAT IS NEW YORK CHAMPAGNE WEEK?
The week’s ethos is and always has been to promote the champagne category through a variety of approachable and fun creative events, pairing experiences, brand launches, new release reveals, interactive tasting seminars and more.
This effervescent week of events initially served as a vehicle to connect the champagne region and brands to prospective restaurant and retail store buyers and press. Over the last three years, and through a global pandemic, New York Champagne Week has expanded to the champagne consumer by offering a combination of virtual events and intimate in-person gatherings.
New York Champagne Week 2023, taking place November 6-11, will officially become a full-fledged destination event, inviting champagne enthusiasts from all over the world to participate in this year’s champagne-packed festivities.
