New York Champagne Week is female owned and operated, launched in November 2013 by Blaine Ashley aka “Champagne Blaine”. 

The week’s ethos is and always has been to promote the champagne lifestyle through a variety of creative events, pairing dinners, multi-sensory experiences and more. 

The effervescent platform initially served as a vehicle to connect champagne brands with food and beverage professionals yet developed a consumer driven audience just before and through the pandemic by delivering the New York Champagne Week experiences straight to thousands of peoples doorsteps. 

November 2023’s official New York Champagne Week was a milestone celebration toasting to 10 effervescent years of champagne packed fun! November’s annual week long celebration also marked one year of the platform doing year-round events in its home of NYC and across multiple markets in the US including but not limited to LA, San Diego and Miami and burgeoning gems such as Phoenix, Savannah, Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama. 

Next November 10th - 14th we’'ll cheers to 12 champagne packed years in our home base of NYC with Ashley once again at the helm as serial, all-things sparkling entrepreneur and marketing expert!

In 2016, Ashley’s focus on all things bubbly awarded her a nod in Wine Enthusiast magazine as a 40-under-40 Taste Maker where she was aptly dubbed ‘The Champagne Queen’. In October 2018 Ashley launched a sparkling wine focused sister platform, ‘The FIZZ is Female’ which shines a spotlight on leading ladies in the bubbly wine biz and celebrates sparkling wine made, owned and/or led by female powerhouses from around the world. In 2021 Forbes commended her adaptability, resourcefulness and sparkling segue skills amid an ever changing, unpredictable economic climate. And, in May 2024, Crain’s Business acknowledged Ashley’s expertise in connecting Champagne Enthusiasts around the world to the BEST The Ultimate Champagne Lifestyle has to offer.
